I’ve been teaching IB Maths for the past 8 years, mostly with students who need help turning class notes into workable exam method. I cover both AA and AI, with a lot of time spent on functions, calculus and probability. I also help students sharpen IA ideas before they become too ambitious. My lessons are structured, but I’m practical about pace and I usually adapt quickly once I see where marks are being lost.

Hi, I’m an IB English tutor and former school writing mentor. I work with students on Literature and Language & Literature, especially when essays start sounding too general or too descriptive. A lot of my sessions are about getting a clear argument on the page and using the text properly. I also help with IO planning and HL essay structure. If you want someone who will actually read your drafts closely, that’s mostly what I do.

I tutor IB Biology at both SL and HL and have spent the last 6 years working with students on data questions, experimental design and the parts of the course that usually get rushed in school. Genetics, ecology and human physiology are probably the topics I teach most often. I also support with IAs, especially where students need help tightening method and evaluation rather than rewriting the whole thing from scratch.

My background is in chemistry, and I’ve taught IB Chemistry for over a decade in one-to-one and small group settings. I focus heavily on stoichiometry, energetics and organic pathways because those are the units students most often want to revisit properly. I’m also used to helping with IA planning and uncertainty work. Lessons tend to be straightforward and exam-led, with plenty of worked examples rather than long explanations.

I’m a physics tutor with a soft spot for the trickier IB topics: fields, circular motion, induction and all the graph-based questions that catch people out. I’ve tutored IB for 7 years and most of my students come to me when they understand the theory in class but can’t yet turn that into full-mark answers. Hello, I teach IB Psychology and I still really enjoy the subject, which probably helps. Most of my students need support with SAQs, ERQs and making sure studies are used properly instead of dropped in from memory. I’ve worked with both SL and HL students for 5 years, and I’m especially helpful when someone knows the content but their essays feel messy. I also review IA drafts and research proposals in a fairly direct, practical way.

I tutor IB Business Management with a strong focus on case study use, command terms and writing answers that sound like business analysis rather than common sense. I’ve been teaching the course for 9 years and usually work with students who are aiming to move from mid-range marks into 6s and 7s. I also support IA choice and commentary structure. My style is organised and fairly no-nonsense, especially close to exams.

I’ve been tutoring IB Geography for several years and I enjoy the subject because it lets students connect theory with real places and current issues. I teach both the physical and human side of the course, but I probably spend most time on global change, urban environments and fieldwork write-ups. I also help with IA structure, particularly where students need clearer analysis and less description. Sessions are calm, focused and usually very discussion-based.

Hi! I teach IB History and I’m usually brought in when students are drowning in notes but still not writing strong answers. We spend a lot of time on argument, evidence selection and getting Paper 2 essays to feel controlled rather than rushed. I’ve tutored the course for 6 years and I particularly like teaching authoritarian states and 20th-century wars. I also help students narrow History IA topics before they disappear into too much reading.

I’m an IB Economics tutor with experience teaching both SL and HL students online. A lot of my work is helping students stop memorising definitions in isolation and start using them properly in diagrams, chains of reasoning and policy discussion. Micro is probably my strongest area, though I teach the full course. I also help with commentaries, especially where students need clearer links to the article and tighter evaluation under word count.
